“Celebrating the past, looking to the future”

The European Trade Union is facing a decisive stage in its history against a background of labour and social rights being stripped away, with more than 26 million people unemployed in the EU and with an increasingly more precarious job market as the result of decades of neo-liberal policies. Either we manage to reverse the current balance of power to defend the labour and social rights achieved so far or any glimmer of a social model for Europe will disappear. A great challenge for the future.

This 40^th anniversary has been the opportunity to unveil a new corporate image for the ETUC.
